Fall is in the Air!

Ohhh, there's a chill in the air! At least here in Raleigh, NC. I dressed in shorts to take my kids to school today and was pleasantly surprised at the cool air that met we when we opened the door. It's in the 50s right now here, yep, that's right. It was about 90 degrees yesterday. Wow! Is it chilly where you are today?

I was insipred to start think about fall decorating:

I think it's time to head to the nursery this weekend and pick up some yellow mums and other fall items. It's also time to head up to the attic and pull down the fall bin of decorations. There's something so exciting and refreshing about welcoming in a new season.

Happy decorating & living-

  1. It is Spring where I live, and I too love the change of season. The birds are singing and the flowers are fresh (before the hotter weather to come burns them off). We have nothing now til Christmas; you guys get Thankgiving - a gorgeious reason to decorate.

  3. I so love the pumpkins in the fireplace. So GREAT!!!

Cleaned up the yard and garden today of all garden decor to get ready for the oncoming leaf raking. Fall is definitely in the air. Snow on top of Mt. Washington also. Yuck!

    Have a wonderful FALL weekend.

  4. Hi Barb,
Just got home from Lowes. We got yellow mums, orange and yellow gerber daisies, and some other fall flowering plants. Now, to plant them. Boy, I love fall! Now, if the rain would stop and if the sun would come out I'd be really happy~
Enjoy the rest of your weekend-
