Thanks for wrapping up my tour of our old house in Annandale, Virginia that I staged and we had a contract after one weekend last spring. We've wrapped up our tour of the first floor. Let's move downstairs to the basement area.
Here's our family room area used for tv watching and game playing:
Here's the play area:
Office/craft/ guest room:
Laundry/ storage room.
When we renovated the kitchen we reused the old kitchen cabinets down here. We bought the new countertops at Ikea.
Thanks for joining me today friends. Please click on the 'Tour My Home' tab if you want to see my "in progress" decorating of our new current home outside of Raleigh, North Carolina. I'm definitely having fun decorating it.
Happy decorating & living,
Megan

Where did you get the couch in your family room? I'm helping a friend re-do his living room and your look is similar to what we're going for.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Emily @ little girl, big world
Hi Emily,
ReplyDeleteThe blue couch in the basement/family room was from Ikea. It's been great for kids because it had a slipcover which we wash often! It's pretty durable too. Is that the couch you were referencing? The white sofa upstairs in the living room was from Pottery Barn but they don't sell it anymore.
Take care.
Megan
