A little bit of Tweaking

Hi Friends,
Thanks for joining me today. How are you? Is your summer winding down? Lazy days coming to a close? For us, school started back three weeks ago so we are in the full swing of school days. Luckily, our afterschool activities haven't begun yet so we can ease back into school. We are also holding onto summer with some weekend beach trips and looking forward to the kids' fall break in October back to the beach. Of course, here in North Carolina the pool is still open and the days are still hot.

I wanted to share some tweakings I've been doing around the house.

First, in the dining room, I added two gray slipcovers (same as the green slipcovers in our eat-in kitchen- both from Pier One) and glittery sea life pillows that I got for my birthday (from Pottery Barn).

I think this room is really coming together. I am still considering adding a fig leaf tree in the corner sometime. See what you think:

Another change is in the entry way. I collected 3 B's for my birthday and had fun arranging them. I stole some items from other places in our home to stage this sweet little blue table. Eventually I do want to add two new ceiling lights in our hallway. Right now, I'm loving the bead/wood basket type lights but need to save my pennies to make it fit our budget.

Thanks for joining me today friends. I hope you have an awesome and amazing weekend! No big plans over here for the Brew Crew but I am hoping to do some crafting or painting.
Happy decorating and living,
Megan
