Hi friends,
How are you? What are your plans this weekend?
My posting about yellow rooms earlier this week inspired me to think about my absolute favorite color blue being paired with my new friend yellow.
Blue and yellow are a nice combination, aren't they?
What do you think of these blue and yellow rooms?
Do you have a blue and yellow room?

Birds Birds Everywhere
Hi friends,
What did you think of when you read this blog title? Did you think of this.....
As I was out shopping this week for some new pillows for our family room to spice things up I noticed that the bird decor is definitely hot this season. Birds birds birds everywhere!
I just picked up these sweet little bird bowls. I put one on my bedside table to hold small jewerly and I stacked the other 3 in our family room:
What do you think about birds?

Yellow rooms
HI friends,
How is your week going? What have been the highs and the lows? What are you reading? What are you watching?
I realized that I've never done a blog posting about yellow rooms. I started thinking about yellow. What do you think of the color yellow? Do you have any yellow in your rooms? Do you have any yellow in your wardrobe?
I looked around my own house and I only have little touches of yellow in my home. Small touches of yellow in artwork and in one set of pillows. I looked in my closet and I have one yellow shirt (new) and one yellow sweater (old, never wear anymore). Yellow may be a color that I choose to incorporate in the future. What about you?
There's something so cheerful and inviting about these yellow rooms. Don't you agree? Makes me want to add some more yellow elements to my spaces.

Flowers
Hi friends,
How is your week going? What is the weather like where you are? Here in North Carolina it has been rainy and cold the last week but today it's in the 60s and sunny. Oh sun, how I love you! It's getting me in the mood for spring. Spring has got to be my favorite season. I love the rebirth of life. I love having the windows open with the cool breezes. I love love love flowers! We moved into our house last April and I believe we missed the tullips and dogwoods here. I do remember roses gallore in my new neighborhood. I can't wait to see what flowers spring brings in my yard and neighborhood.
Maybe some Dalias:
Maybe some Peonies:
How about some Tullips:
Easter makes me think of Orchids:
How much do I love Hydrageas? Big gorgeous bouquets of blue and purple:
What's your favorite springtime flower?
